Empowering communities through creativity, justice, and healing.
Karate Black Inc. (KBI) is a creative wellness and restorative justice organization dedicated to strengthening mental health and emotional resilience through the arts, movement, and mindfulness.
Founded by Tia Hines, KBI was born from the belief that art, movement, and social justice can work together to heal trauma and build stronger communities.
Our Vision
To create a world where wellness, creativity, and justice intersect — giving youth and families tools to grow, express, and thrive together.
Our Mission
At Karate Black Inc., our mission is to educate and support underserved communities with mental health tools that aid in growth and stability, promote awareness of social justice issues, and provide restorative justice practices for community healing from trauma.
We integrate creative arts, mindfulness, and self-defense to inspire self-awareness, empowerment, and connection.
